Two for Tuesday – Push & Pull

#TwoforTuesday – Push and Pull marketing is where it’s at! If you don’t have an organic push campaign at the least your not doing marketing right.  Well you might not be in sales.  lol  Having some Fan page, or online presence on several social medium platforms is a must.  Not just a personal account, I’m talking about a business fan page.  Something that you can actually “program” to do work for you! Yep, just about everything you see me do on social media is scheduled, I’m actually rarely on it during the day.  Because I’m on the phone calling the leads that the posts and interaction give me.

So here’s the thing, if you ever tried a paid marketing campaign on FB and failed one of two things existed.  1, you do suck at sales and maybe need to go do processing work.  Or 2, you didn’t have a combination of someone optimizing those ads to help them gain leads or you didn’t have an organic campaign running beside the paid ad.  Yes, that is by definition having a Push & Pull campaign working beside each other.  When I spoke to someone just yesterday they mentioned they had a bad experience running ads, and when I asked about what was done to help the ads gain leads, they said nothing.  They really didn’t know!

I’m not here to sell you a paid ad campaign (yes I am) but it all starts with having some organic Push campaign.  Sure you can have no business fan page on FB and run ads, but if you do the person running them better be an economic’s geek that can optimize that ad to reach more people.  Meaning re-target the advertising to gain more clicks and you gain more leads.  There’s definitely a skill to that.  And I don’t do it.  I lean on the Pro’s that have been doing it for years.  In fact, I offer the ad copy that has the best conversion rates out there in almost any sales field.  Not just mortgages.  And these guys help optimize the advertisement to literally have you swimming in leads.  No joke.  Here’s a campaign result for you.  Just one small one.  Started mid week, and with 30 dollars in ad spend generated 14 leads.  Do that math, that’s 2.15 a lead!

But hey, again I’m not here to “sell” you into doing them.  I only offer them to those that are serious about NOT BUYING LEADS ANYMORE, but rather CREATING A LEAD GENERATION MACHINE!  You see for years I’ve helped my Broker’s actually gain leads organically.  And now have my own digital product I sell to help others in or out of my network start a BLUEPRINT to help themselves generate leads FREE!  Then when they want to up their game up and do paid ads, I have the open door to the best ad copy and the best management service for those that want to run paid advertising campaign.  #jussayin 🙂

Monday’s Motivation – My Story Part 1.

#MondaysMotivation – My story I’m going to share with everyone this week.  How the birth of the JUICEman came about, and how I got where I am today! – In college I worked full time and went to school part time.  Well only one class less, so instead of 4-6 classes a semester I did 3-4 depending on the times they were offered. I typically tried to either take an am class or evening classes 1 to 2 times a week.  Then during the day I worked at an ADT special promotions dealership.  Located in the hood of Grand Rapids, MI. I was the only team lead, besides the owner, his wife (receptionist) and two other installers.  We had a team of 3 to 10 other people working with us at any given time.

We went DOOR TO DOOR, giving away home security systems FREE in exchange for
“free advertising” with a sign out front of the home.  (the special promo) The catch, the person had to sign a 3 year contract to continue the monitoring service with ADT.  We would all jump in a van, and go to the neighborhoods outside the city to promote and get people to sign up.  It was all leg work, literally.  lol.  Fun stuff, but this is where I learned about contract law, and as the team lead, I was the closer.  Most other door knockers got some interest, radio’d me in with a Nextel phone, and I went in the home and got the contract signed.

Even from Day 1, there was an inherent feeling of helping other people that I carried in what I did.  I was a sophomore in college making 60k, running a team of door to door sales people, helping others learn to sell.  I did meetings, recruiting, and even helped the owner set up business to business relationships so leads could be generated.  Funny thing was while everyone was just reading the marketing 101 books, I was taking that information and actually applying techniques at a young age.  When I was done with meetings and the team was about to load up and ship out for the day, we would chant JUICE at the end of the meetings.  It was something that stuck with me from a prior sales job selling Cutco knives in Ann Arbor.  – Join Us In Creating Excitement (JUICE) – JUICE was merely a way a pump up myself and others after a team huddle.  That’s where it all started.

Thursday’s Truth’s – A Plan backed by ACTION!

#ThursdaysTruths – Many say they want success, few do what it takes to get there!  There is definitely a shortage of action takers out there.  I talk to people all the time that are “slow” or so they say, but yet when presented a plan to get more done, less take action than you would think.  I believe the true reasoning behind this is discipline, planning and knowing how to take massive action.  Today I will detail that for you.

First, write down your goals, then make a list of small activities as steps to help you get there.  Then plan out specific time blocks daily to do those activities.  Put the plan of attack right on your desk so you see it every day.  Then take massive action!  Yes, you have to do work! #whataconcept While funny, it’s the moral of the story, many dream, but most don’t act on them.
